MWAM: Where did it go?

Hey everybody! Sorry about the lack of updates! It’s been a crazy week! We’re back though… bigges problem? MWAM’s favorite football team the New York Football Giants are in the Super Bowl and every chance I get I go and read stuff on them… NONETHELESS! The show must go on!

There’s no Deadpool one yet… but wouldn’t it be awesome to have one of these in Deadpool form?

We’re the first link that comes up for searches of mercwithamouth, merc with a mouth, Marvel Deadpool Blog and probably some others but hey those three are cool by us! We’d love to move in the Deadpool search but there’s a bunch we’re second or third in.

Update! Hi-Res Image! Marvel Super-Hero Squad Deadpool!

 Marvelousnews.com has posted new and hi-res images of the Super Hero Squad Deadpool/Punisher two-pack! They have an in-package image of the Cable/Cap two-pack as well.  In my opinion, they all look fantastic and I will be picking up a set of each. Official: Way and Dillon on New Deadpool book in 2008

Daniel Way, in an interview with Wizard, confirmed what we’ve pretty much known: Deadpool is returning to his own title this year! A quick snippet:

 ” Deadpool is the character that constantly has to move. He is that AD/HD guy. As long as he’s moving, he doesn’t have to focus on anything. He can’t stand looking at himself — literally. Looking at himself in the mirror, he looks like a f—ing monster, and this is what he has to deal with. And the worst part of it all is that it’s not going to change. It’s not going anywhere. He’s not going anywhere. He’s here to stay. So he’s just reeling headlong into the future with his eyes closed and his mouth moving 100 miles an hour.”

Wolverine: Origins #21 5-page Preview

Wizard has posted up a 5 page preview of Wolverine: Origins #21 featuring the Merc With A Mouth himself, Deadpool! They also say that tomorrow night they will be putting up an interview with Daniel Way about Wolverine: Origins and Deadpool. Which has confirmed Way is going to be working with Dillon on the new Deadpool book for later in 2008.

Deadpool is getting a new title in ‘08… but what kind?

MWAM reader Ben sent us along a link to a post over at ifanboy.com of Deadpool’s upcoming year. Conor, of ifanboy, asked Jim McCann, of Marvel, about Deadpool’s status and Jim had this to say: “There WILL be a Deadpool book coming… our lips are sealed as to if it is a mini, ongoing, or another team-up book. “
